The RISEGO Journey

In order to accomplish the task of creating the next generation of Social Entrepreneurs, David Dey spearheaded the creation of RISEGO to reach students in schools and to develop unique programs that target youth in communities.

The creation of RISEGO is also an outgrowth of the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship’s research, a nationally recognized program for its work in defining and creating unique Social Entrepreneurial programs and initiatives. In order to accomplish the task of creating the next generation of Social Entrepreneurs, RISEGO solicited the help of the Institute to develop a comprehensive model and curriculum to target youth in schools and communities.

RISEGO develops young Social Entrepreneurs in Schools and Communities by:

• Teaching Social Entrepreneurship through “the Journey” curriculum.
• Helping youth launch and sustain successful businesses or social ventures.
• RISEGO Centers provide the ideal marketplaces for youth and adult ventures.
