Creating Young Social Entrepreneurs in Communities

RISEGO provides youth with an opportunity to create businesses or social ventures that contribute to the improvement of their communities.
The community-based model is designed to teach youth, ages 15 –18, how to solve pressing community needs and make a profit at the same time.

Why is our community model unique?

The creation of a community based Social Entrepreneurship Center allows RISEGO to develop the next generation of young
Social Entrepreneurs by:

  • Teaching youth through The Journey curriculum in our on-site training classrooms
  • Providing access to Social Entrepreneurship Centers that become marketplaces for youth ventures
  • Supporting young Social Entrepreneurs through business mentors

Our services are designed to utilize youth and the businesses on-site to stimulate the creation of jobs, income, health and wealth for residents or communities located in and around neighborhood commercial areas.
